This includes a license to use any of Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2008 R2, all Standard Edition. Running under Xen HVM, your system will boot up at the Windows installation screen from a CD image, or we can do the install for you.

Notes on VPS Hosting

  • Most orders are set up within a few hours, but please be prepared to wait for up to 24 hours during busy periods.
  • The Windows VPS that you will be assigned is unmanaged. You are responsible for maintenance and management of your Windows VPS. You must have a suitable firewall and remain vigilant to hacking attempts and exploits.You will have full Administrator access to your VPS via SSH but support for software within your VPS is not contractually provided (although we are happy to help occasional issues). Ultimately, Windows is closed source, so we cannot resolve every possible issue.
  • You may start with the smallest Windows VPS hosting package and upgrade at a later point if you wish.
  • Extra bandwidth is charged at $0.05 per GB, chargeable monthly in arrears.
